As per the latest guidelines, the practical exams, project works, and internal assessments will begin from January 1, 2025, for all CBSE-affiliated schools in India and abroad.

These SOPs are part of CBSE’s effort to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process, maintaining safety standards and adherence to academic integrity. The procedures are designed to streamline the conduct of practicals while ensuring fairness and consistency across schools.

Key Highlights of the SOPs:

  1. Practical Exam Schedule:

    • Students will be given sufficient time to complete their projects, which will be assessed both for content and presentation.
  4. Evaluation Process:
    • The SOPs also outline a clear framework for evaluation of practical exams and projects, ensuring that the assessments are standardized across all schools.
  5. Submission of Marks:
    • Schools are to submit the marks for practical exams, internal assessments, and project work through the designated CBSE portals, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

Why These SOPs are Important:

The introduction of these SOPs by the CBSE aims to create a uniform examination environment across schools in India and abroad, eliminating discrepancies in the practical examination process. The guidelines ensure a standardized evaluation system and provide clarity to both students and educators.
