In honor of the late leader, the Delhi government has declared December 27 a public holiday, allowing citizens to pay their respects and participate in mourning ceremonies. Essential services will remain unaffected.

The nation will observe a seven-day mourning period from December 27 to January 2, during which all official events and celebrations will remain suspended.
