The NEET exam stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is a competitive entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for aspiring candidates who plan to build their career in medical and dental field. NEET ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
A candidate is eligible for appearing the NEET examination only if –
- The student is an Indian citizen.
- The candidate must be at least 17 years of age.

NEET APPLICATION, ADMIT CARD AND EXAM CENTRE
- After the application process is complete, you can download your admit card and print it out. It is essential to take your printed admit card to the exam centre before entering the hall. In case of no admit card with the candidate, he/she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall for the exam.
- There are numerous exam centres across the country. You can flexibly choose your preferable exam centre during the application process.
EXAM PATTERN
- According to latest information by NTA, the exam duration is increased by 20 minutes i.e., 3 hours 20 mins is the total duration of the NEET exam.
- As per the latest NEET exam pattern, there are two sections of each subject i.e., section A and section B. (For e.g., Physics has two sections and so others consisting of 200 questions in all).
- Section A consists of 35 MCQs and section B consists of 15 questions (10/15 is to be attempted).
- 4 marks are awarded for each correct answer, 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer and 0 marks for unattempt questions.

The exam syllabus is all about going back to the roots of science. It’s syllabus covers the 11th and 12th class NCERT syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
