SWIFT City in Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Bold Step Towards Empowering Start-ups and Innovation
The Karnataka government is embarking on an ambitious project to establish SWIFT City, a new industrial and innovation hub located near Sarjapur, Bengaluru. This initiative aims to strengthen the state’s position as a global start-up and entrepreneurship destination while offering modern infrastructure to fuel growth in various industries. The project focuses on offering plug-and-play facilities designed to support start-ups, technology firms, and innovative businesses looking to expand.
SWIFT City: A Step Toward Economic Empowerment
SWIFT City will feature 8 to 10 plug-and-play facilities, each spread across 20–25 acres of land. The government has planned to make land available for businesses with options ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 square feet. These land parcels will be offered through a combination of lease, sale, and equity-sharing agreements, allowing flexibility for businesses to choose the model that suits their needs best.
This approach is designed to attract start-ups, small businesses, and large enterprises, providing them with the necessary space and resources to thrive. These plug-and-play facilities will be equipped with modern amenities, making it easier for companies to begin operations immediately without the hassle of setting up infrastructure from scratch.
