  • Participation in Science Fairs:

    • District Level: 5%
    • State & Above Level: 10%
  • Rank in Olympiads or Equivalent Competitions:
    • School Level: 2%
    • District Level: 4%
    • State & Above Level: 5%
  • Sport Competition Wins:
    • School Level: 2%
    • District Level: 4%
    • State & Above Level: 5%
  • Membership in Scout and Guides / NCC / NSS (in the last 3 years): 5%
  • Studying in a Village/Rural School located in Panchayat Area: Additional consideration for students from rural areas.

Where Will YUVIKA Take Place?

The YUVIKA program will be hosted at seven key ISRO centers across the country, providing students with an opportunity to experience the best of India’s space research infrastructure:

  2. Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram
  3. Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Sriharikota

  5. Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad
  6. National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad
  7. North-Eastern Space Applications Centre (NE-SAC), Shillong

Program Benefits

The YUVIKA program provides comprehensive support for all selected students. ISRO covers the following:

  • Lodging and Boarding: Full accommodation and meals during the program.
  • Course Materials: All educational materials required for the program will be provided.
  • Travel Expenses: ISRO will reimburse travel costs based on II AC train fare or authorized bus fare. The maximum reimbursement will be limited to the II AC train fare if students opt for other modes of transport. Students must provide original travel tickets for reimbursement.
